The acclaimed video game developer known for the famed The Witcher series just unveiled fresh details about its forthcoming open-world experience, Cyberpunk 2077, according to a recent report by TechRadar.
Among the most newsworthy updates regarding the highly anticipated RPG is CD Projekt Red’s announcement that Cyberpunk 2077 will NOT have microtransactions or a Battle Royale mode.
For those unfamiliar with Cyberpunk 2077: “It’s based off the pen-and-paper RPG of the same name, but plays a heckuva lot like The Matrix game we’ve always wanted,” according to the TechRadar story.
CD Projekt Red, which has been churning out iterations of The Witcher since 2007, has promised it would be taking its sweet time to ensure the company doesn’t deliver a half-baked product, although reports indicate gamers could be loading it up before the end of the year.
